Tyler Haeffs, DDS
Dr. Tyler Haeffs grew up in Alpharetta, Georgia and graduated with high honors and a Bachelor of Science in Genetics from the University of Georgia. He then obtained his Doctor of Dental Medicine from Harvard School of Dental Medicine, where he graduated with clinical honors, authored numerous surgical publications, and presented his research at national and international conferences. He completed his residency training at the University of Illinois Chicago where he trained under many of the nation’s best oral and maxillofacial surgeons at Northwestern Memorial Hospital, Ann and Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital, Advocate Christ Medical Center, UI Health, and the Jesse Brown VA Medical Center.
Dr. Haeffs is double board certified by both the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery as well as the National Dental Board of Anesthesiology. Additionally, he maintains certification in Basic, Advanced Cardiac and Pediatric Advanced Life Support.

Dr. Haeffs enjoys interacting with and treating patients of all ages. His warm and friendly demeanor puts anxious patients at wase as he takes great care to create a comfortable and relaxed environment for everyone. His professional specialties include dentoalveolar surgery and wisdom teeth removal, dental implant placement, bone and soft tissue grafting, in office IV anesthesia, treatment of benign head and neck pathology, and facial trauma. He currently has privileges at Emory Johns Creek Hospital for high-risk/complex cases.
During his free time, Dr. Haeffs enjoys playing tennis, homebrewing, spending time with friends and family, and cheering on the Bulldogs. Dr. Haeffs is also a philanthropist, having completed several mission trips to the Dominican Republic and Honduras to provide medical and dental care to adults and children.
